Glasgow CAN, Glasgow

Wednesday, 29 May

£21.35 - £64.05

Glasgow CAN ran this workshop in November 2018 and it was oversubscribed. Therefore back by popular demand is this Social Media for Arts Professionals Training Opportunity, hosted by us and led by Ross McCulloch from @ThirdSectorLab who have over 30,000 Twitter followers, and are experts at supporting those working in the sector to use various Social Media Platforms as a tool for increasing reach and promoting your work.

This workshop is about Social Media strategy and using it in a more productive way as a method for increasing audience, awareness raising, making the vision of your organisation or practice clearer to the public and an insight into Social Media platforms that you may not be using that could benefit your work.

Please note it is not a workshop about how to use individual platforms. Ross can give hints and tips on this and attendees are not expected to be Twitter experts for example prior to coming along, but the facilitator will not be teaching how to to use specific platforms in detail.

Please see FAQs section for information on our tiered ticketing system.

The training workshop will take place on Wednesday 29th May and run from 10am-1pm at Scottish Youth Theatre, 105 Brunswick Street, Glasgow, G1 1TF. There will be teas/coffees provided. Please bring a device that you can access social media on. If you have any questions please email [email protected]
