Pay what you feel

Alphabetti Theatre presents Write Faster

When: Friday 14th June 2019
Show Begins: 7.30pm
Tickets: Pay What You Feel
Age Recommendation: 16+
Running Time: approx. 90 minutes

See a brand-new play written and performed live before your very eyes. It’s live writing. It’s ridiculous. It could be pants! (That’s why you pay at the end).

The concept is a mad-hatched plan from writer Richard Stockwell and Alphabetti’s own Ali Pritchard. The aim is for the three writers to write a brand-new play in front of the audience, whilst it’s also being performed – there will be a typewriter, a computer, pens and paper. The writers hand lines, stage directions and anything else they fancy to the actors for them to act out in front of your eyes! What will unfurl, an epic modern day classic or one for the wastepaper basket?

Organiser

Alphabetti Theatre

Alphabetti Theatre is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and was created by Ali Pritchard in 2012. We create, produce, and programme new, original work from emerging artists across the performing arts, championing work in Music, Theatre, Comedy and Poetry. We strive to make theatre that is relatable and accessible to all, and are constantly looking for new ways to challenge ourselves, physically, mentally and conceptually – we believe that by challenging ourselves we inevitably challenge the audience, creating engaging and original experiences.
